BBC Radio 2 Electric Proms

In 2010 Electric Proms moved from being an independent brand to being ‘owned’ by Radio 2, a big enough shift to necessitate a new brand approach. 

Given the heavyweight design tasks, we wanted a bespoke face at the heart of this brand that can be at the centre of the look for all communications. 

The bespoke EP cut of Avant Garde (The Radio 2 typeface) rendered out of black, references neon and nightlife in an appropriate way for the target audience.
